The Apostle Paul wrote to his son in the faith warning him, “For the time will come. When people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.”
2 Timothy 4:3-4 (NIV)
Here the Apostle Paul warns that people would not only be hostile and intolerant to the Truth but they would also demand their own teachers-men who will teach what their flesh desires and not the Truth of God.
Let us stand firm in the Truth as we are commanded and not give in to the world and be judged by God on that great day!
