If you were in a burning building would you run out? What must I do to be saved? Where is the exit!

If you were in a burning building would you run out?
The Gospel is the exit!

The Gospel

“For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures,” The Apostle Paul wrote, (1 Corinthians 15:3,4).
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” Romans 3:23 tells us. The reality of sin needs to be acknowledged to have a proper view of the atonement, which is central to the gospel.
Jesus said, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick.  I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance.” Luke 5:31-32 (ESV)
This sickness that our Lord refers to is sin. Man must acknowledge his dead state in sin and trespasses to truly believe in the Lord Jesus how he should.
“For our sake he made him (Jesus) to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him (Jesus) we might become the righteousness of God” (2 Corinthians 5:21)(ESV)
“For our sake he made Him sin who knew know sin” This refers to Jesus being perfecting sinless and taking our punishment; “substitution”. Jesus died in are stead, He died the death that was due to us, “for are sins”. Sin must be paid for, punished and Jesus died for the sins of those who believe and put all their trust in Him.
One must put their trust in Jesus and not in their hypocritical self-righteousness. Self-righteousness is pride and can be seen in the fact that we judge and condemn others for the same things we practice: lies, hatred, lust, anger, envy, cursing, strive, etc. (Romans 2:1, Matthew 7:3).
Jesus paid the price for us, dying, substituting Himself for us, taking the punishment that we deserved.
“God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God” (2 Corinthians 5:21)(NIV)

He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed. (1 Peter 2:24)(ESV)

The resurrection of Jesus Christ on the third day is proof of the power of God and that the work of Christ Jesus was acceptable to the Father. The resurrection is proof that Jesus actually trumped over death.
Therefore “if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, bestowing his riches on all who call on him.  For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved…” (Romans 10:9-13)(ESV)
You are not to sinful to be saved today, for the work of Christ is sufficient.
When asked, “Then he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.”” (Acts 16:30-31)(ESV)
Believe today while their is still time and do not harden your heart for tomorrow is not promised and God is Holy and will not tolerate sin in His presents.
Repent and believe.
