The book of Revelation can possess some serious challenges if one attempts to put the book in chronological order (as us Westerners often attempt to do). Rather if one approaches this from the prospective of the author John; with the foundation that he lays out in the first chapter 1:1-3
“He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John, who bore witness to the word of God and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, even to all that he saw. Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear, and who keep what is written in it, for the time is near.”
By keeping the main theme of the Bible in mind the book of Revelation is manageable and understandable (The Gospel of Jesus Christ). In this short video we take the time to explore chapter 12 approaching chapter 13. The goal that we were attempting to accomplish in Bible study is the events surrounding the mark of the boast.
